    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor emerging opportunities for growth and assist in uncovering untapped sectors within the retail and property industries.

    • Conduct comprehensive market research, both primary and secondary, to explore white space and adjacent areas.

    • Recommend novel white space opportunities through in-depth analysis, considering factors like competitive landscape and key market trends. These white spaces may encompass areas such as short-stay properties, e-commerce, foodstuff, and/or manufacturing.

    • Assess and project the market size and growth trends within these white space areas.

    • Provide support for due diligence in new pipeline prospects, covering commercial potential, reimbursement considerations, and more.

    • Formulate preliminary strategies for market entry.

    • Analyze trends in real estate investment, including venture capital and corporate investments, and identify the most relevant databases for accessing these trends.

    • Offer valuation assistance for both new and subsequent investments.

    Knowledge

    • Excellent written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills

    • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet demands and sense of urgency

    • Strong aptitude for numbers, retail math skills and understanding of forecasting methodology

    • Proficiency in financial modelling, market research, and business model analysis

    Education

    • An advanced degree counts towards 2 years of experience with a total of 9 years

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops and motivates sales professionals by coaching and transferring the knowledge of consultative selling skills and sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results.

    • Lead client engagement by developing and managing relationships at the middle management and key decision maker levels for large and medium customers.

    • Manages sales transaction pipelines and forecasting and hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets.

    • Demonstrates expertise and understanding in latest market developments and trends to drive go-to market strategies.

    • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge

    • Proven track record of using sales and marketing levers to build and deliver strategies to win in an aggressive marketplace.

    • Technical ability to articulate industry trends, understand the capabilities and translate information into future business opportunities.

    • Extensive experience in direct sales: Success developing deep, inclusive relationships with key customers
